Alla filmälskare har rätt till kvalitetsfilm, oavsett ålder! Just därför startades Stockholms filmfestival Junior vid millennieskiftet för att se till att Stockholms biodukar fylls med nyskapande och tankeväckande filmer för den yngre publiken. Sen dess har Junior vuxit till att idag visa filmer som sällan når den vanliga biotablån. 

 

More than a festival


Stockholm Film Festival Junior is not just a festival for children and young people. Through our film competitions you can win great prizes and show your films on the big screen. The younger audience is also highly involved in the creation of the festival through the Junior Group that selects the winner of the Bronze Horse. The festival week takes place every spring and of course all screenings are completely free for all children, young people, teachers and members.

Stockholm International Film Festival organises lots of different events for children and young people, where you can both watch and make films. 

For example, we have an entire festival dedicated to children and young people - Stockholm Film Festival Junior - where you can see all the best films for young audiences right now. And at our Film Workshops, you and your class can learn how to make films!
