This year's programme features new and old crowd favourites with the theme of Soundtrack, where the music is in focus.

Every year, Stockholm International Film Festival's Sommarbio is held in Rålambshovsparken, and we can promise you five magical evenings under the sparkling starry sky, with five fantastic films. But we don't just show a lot of great films, we have a lot of new things to offer in 2024!
In addition to five spectacular feature films, Sommarbio will have DJs, live music, food, beer and wine served in a lush green garden with an unbeatable view of the park and the screen. This year, Eken Marknad will also join us in Rålis on Friday and Saturday 17-18 August, and second-hand lovers will be able to discover vintage clothes, vinyls, furniture and much more. Free snacks and drinks from the festival's partners will also be available in the park as always thanks to our partners!

Join us at the official Sommarbio pre-party!
Join us at Café Klotet for our official Sommarbio pre-party on the 7th of August! We'll be screening Harmony Korine's Gummo from 1997, with the best view in town, and Jean-Louis Huhta (Dungeon Acid) and Fredrik Lund-Hansen spinning music after the film! We will be serving our festival drinks with The Famous Grouse and beer from Peroni Nastro Azzurro. First come, first served for the drink tickets!
When should I be there?
We open the park at 5pm every day with food and drinks, and around 8pm we also have live music on stage. We will reveal the artists shortly!
A jam-packed festival week
What would Sommarbio be without some extra festivities? To maximise the best week of the summer even more, we invite all moviegoers to our after parties! On August 14 we will gather at Eden at Smedsudden, and on August 15 the festivities will continue at Café Klotet, high above Slussen. You are welcome to end the movie nights with an unbeatable atmosphere, view of Stockholm and great company!
Did anyone say pizza?
Yeah, that's right! We have a lovely new addition to our beer and wine garden! For the second year in a row, Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% is the proud main sponsor, and they invite you to the unique bar concept The House of Peroni where they also present a tasty collaboration with the pod duo Siri Barje and Jimmy Guo. Throughout the Sommarbio weekend, they will be serving their delicious signature pizzas, so you can enjoy amazing flavours while relaxing and watching movies.

Vintage clothes, homeware and much more!
Another great addition this year is Eken Marknad, which will be spread out under Lilla Västerbron on August 17 & 18 between 12:00 - 18:00. Their market is a place for second-hand enthusiasts who love to find new (yet old!), unique and high quality items. You will be able to find vintage clothing, handmade crafts, vinyl records, food, furniture & decor and DJs will also be playing music on site.
