Here are Wednesday's movie gems!

Don't miss »The Practice«, »The Teachers Lounge«, »Amina« and »Saltburn« on wednesday!

Wednesday's four favorites, which you should not miss, are »The Practice«, »Amina«, »The Teachers' Lounge« and »Saltburn«

Do you like comedy films and want to start your afternoon with a good laugh? Then you should watch »The Practice«. A melancholic and funny comedy-drama starring Esteban Bigliardi as Gustavo, an apathetic man who has devoted his entire life to yoga. He is a lost soul who becomes even more lost when he is left by his wife after countless attempts to save the relationship through couples therapy. Gustavo is put in charge of the yoga studio they ran together and the stress of the drastic life changes leads to a knee injury. He is forced to replace his beloved yoga with training at the gym where unexpected encounters lead to a new outlook on life.

If you want to continue on the drama path, »The Teachers' Lounge« is for you. This hair-raising, fascinating and stylistically beautiful drama depicts how trivial events can lead to major consequences and how the school system fails when it matters. We are sent back to school and sneak into the teacher's room where we meet Carla Nowak, a newly graduated teacher. One of her students quickly becomes a suspect when it is discovered that someone is stealing valuables from teachers and students. Carla decides to find out the truth and takes matters into her own hands. As she tries to navigate between angry parents, colleagues and children, she feels increasingly stifled by the school's rules and structures.

If you prefer a Swedish drama, we recommend »Amina«. Amina is a young, talented MMA fighter who is struggling to find her passion while also struggling to raise her daughter. When Amina gets the opportunity to train with one of the best coaches, Rose, she finds it increasingly difficult to meet the expectations placed on her as a fighter. Her relationship with her daughter suffers and Amina has to choose: will she be a successful fighter or the mother expected of her?

Want to end your evening with a drama thriller from our focus country, the UK? Then make your way to Saga 1 where »Saltburn« is being screened. An equal parts political satire and psychological thriller where we meet Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan), a young man of modest means who becomes obsessed with the upper-class guy Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi). Felix takes Oliver under his wing and invites him to his family's vast estate where cocktail hour begins at breakfast and lazy summer days are spent by the pool. »Saltburn« is a sprawling movie that pushes clichés to their limits, and Rosamund Pike does a brilliant job as a truly unsympathetic upper-class hag with amusing quirks like being allergic to ugliness.

»The Practice« by Martín Rejtman

Hawke's passion for the art of film has made him a highly respected name in the film industry.

Hawke's journey on the silver screen began as a teenager in the 1980s with his breakthrough role in the film "Dead Poets Society" (1989), where he starred alongside Robin Williams and captured the hearts of the audience. Since then, he has become known for his ability to portray a variety of characters. Some of his most memorable films include the generation-X drama "Reality Bites" (1994) and the intense police thriller "Training Day" (2001). Where Hawke received an Oscar nomination for his role.
